The Gold Standard Youth Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping young athletes reach their highest potential both on and off the playing field. The Foundation serves youth ages five to eighteen through annual programs and community outreach initiatives. Through comprehensive developmental programming and scholarship opportunities for high school athletes, we provide the resources, support, and mentorship needed to prepare youth to become confident leaders and successful contributors to their communities.

Calvin Simpson - Executive Director
Calvin Simpson serves as the Executive Director of the Gold Standard Youth Foundation, bringing over 15 years of experience in coaching, player development, scouting, event management, and player relations. His professional journey reflects a deep commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for youth through sport, using athletics as a vehicle for personal growth, leadership development, and community impact. Calvin’s experience spans grassroots programs to elite-level basketball environments, equipping him with a comprehensive understanding of youth development at every stage. Calvin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Management from Drexel University and a Master of Science in Athletic Leadership from Clemson University. Through his leadership at The Gold Standard Youth Foundation, he continues to advance the organization’s mission of empowering young athletes to reach their highest potential on and off the field.
